Patrick Palmer will open his Winter Street Studio on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM for the 2017 Spring Biannual Art Stroll & Sale.  The Spring Biannual is an art stroll, open studio, sale of art, and exhibition by the Artists of Sawyer Yards.  Patrick's studio in the Winter Street Studios building is located at 2101 Winter Street, Houston, TX 77007 on the Sawyer Yards Creative Campus.

Patrick Palmer will participate in a Celebrity Birdhouse Silent Auction, benefiting the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center. at Spring Street Studios located at 1824 Spring Street, Houston, TX 77007 on the Sawyer Yards Creative Campus.  The silent auction will be part of the Spring Biannual Art Stroll & Sale exclusively at Spring Street Studios. Patrick was paired with local celebrity Bill Baldwin, owner of Boulevard Realty.

Preview Reception: Reflecting/Reimagining: Selections from Glassell School of Art Studio School Faculty Members

The UHCL Art Gallery presents an exhibition of works in a diverse array of media created by eleven faculty members of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston’s Glassell School of Art Studio School. Featured in the exhibition are Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak, Susan Budge, Sharon Dennard, Nathan Dube, Jeff Forster, Jan Harrell, Clara Hoag, Patrick Palmer, Mark Ponder, Christopher Wallace and Sandra Zilker. As working artists, they represent a robust sampling of Houston’s dynamic art scene. As educators, they serve as a reminder of the myriad opportunities locally available to those who wish to hone their artistic skills. The public is invited to be the first to see their works during a preview reception on Thursday, Jan. 19, 5-7 p.m. Admission is free, and complimentary refreshments, including libations provided by Saint Arnold Brewing Company, will be served. Free parking is available in the Visitor Lot or Lot D. The exhibition is on view through March 23.
